3D Laser Scanning / Point Cloud / LiDAR / Scan to BIM

We specialize in precise laser scanning services utilizing terrestrial laser scanners. This process is also known as Reality Capture where the laser scanner captures millions of points every second in the 60 meters range. The combination of these points composes a three-dimensional point cloud that can be viewed, inspected and modeled in 3D CAD and BIM applications. The scanner provides a highly accurate representation of the as-built conditions with 4mm tolerance over 60 meters.

As-built 3D point cloud model is a perfect tool to capture existing site conditions. Laser scanning can be used as part of the quality control and assurance process to verify construction measurements on-site and determine whether building elements were installed correctly.

This service can be used in combination with Scan to BIM services, where a point cloud model is used to create a detailed 3D BIM model.
